Words from the Creator!

It's been five years since our last Tech Fest concert. The crew is excited for their big comeback! So much has changed since 2019. We've got a new school, at a new location, new gear, new challenges, new sponsors, new technology, and new surprises. Tech Fest has expanded to the world of livestream, which has been an exciting new extension of our multi-media production

As Tech Fest continues to grow, the students continue to elevate and take on more of the workload. Once the students apply and are assigned jobs; that is where they begin to take over. Student administrators, graphic designers, social media & marketing, merchandise, food & hospitality, website development, communication, reading and writing and interacting with professionals, and of course providing high quality sound, lights, photo and video... you name it and they can do it. 

Tech Fest is dedicated to the late Dennis Bourke (father of Bill Bourke and founder of the OCVTS Audio for Electronic Media program) and raises money for student scholarships. To date, we've raised over $50,000 for the "Hopes and Dreams Scholarship," which has since been renamed the "Dennis Bourke Hopes and Dreams Scholarship". 

I am grateful for everyone on the team who has helped make this happen. Without all of the support, none of this would be possible.
